    Skånes universitetssjukhus

    Skånes universitetssjukhus (Sus) är ett sjukhus grundat den 1 januari genom sammanslagning av Universitetssjukhuset i Lund och Universitetssjukhuset Mas i Malmö. Sjukhuset har omkring 12 anställda[2] och är Sveriges tredje största universitetssjukhus och bedriver avancerad sjukvård, utbildning och forskning i nära samarbete med Lunds universitet och Malmö universitet.

    Verksamheten bedrivs främst i Lund och Malmö men även på flera andra orter.

    Innan sammanslagningen var Universitetssjukhuset i Lund Skånes största sjukhus och bedrev högspecialiserad sjukvård inom flertal områden. I Lund finns högspecialiserad verksamhet inom bland annat neurologi, ÖNH-sjukdomar, radiologi med barnradiologi, neuroradiologi och interventionell neuroradiologi, klinisk fysiologi, klinisk neurofysiologi, klinisk genetik, Yrkes- och miljömedicin, dermatologi, neurokirurgi, thoraxkirurgi med hjärttranplantationskirurgi och lungtransplantationskirurgi som riksresurs, kardiologi med interventionell kardiologi och elektrofysiologisk undersökningar av hjärtat, lungmedicin, hematologi, gynekologi med gynekologisk

This contact center replaced the original call center with the expectation to increase democracy, accessibility, and more efficient service. As a part of the transition, the previous telephonist workers were terminated and replaced bygd the new profession kommunvägledare. This study reaches from the feminist discussion about how work, skill and organization interacts in the context of the neoliberal transformation of the Swedish public sector. The aim is to analyze the organization of work in the call center and how it enables a reorganization towards a contact center inspired by New Public Management. Drawing on institutional ethnography as a method of inquiry, the study takes a starting point in the lived experiences of the women working in the call center.
